
I woke to a faint clink, My head throbbed. I blinked against the daylight slicing through the curtains. Geet didnโt say a word. She moved like a shadow, silent, practised. A hot cup of coffee appeared by my bedside. I stared at the ceiling.
She picked up my clothes, folded the blanket at my feet, even shifted my night robe, covered my ass cheeks without so much as a sigh. She glanced at me once before slipping out.
